Abigail Hanna is the founder of Halbrecht Global Partners, a frontier technology intelligence and architecture firm focused on how institutions understand, evaluate, and prepare for technological change.
Her work examines the institutional implications of frontier technologies: how technological readiness should be assessed, where infrastructure and implementation constraints affect adoption, how institutions can preserve strategic optionality, and how technology decisions can remain resilient as underlying technologies evolve.
At Halbrecht, Hanna leads the development of the firm's research agenda and its approach to Frontier Technology Intelligence & Architecture, including methodologies for evaluating technological readiness, institutional capability, and optionality across successive technology cycles.
Her areas of inquiry include advanced computing, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, photonic and optical systems, technology commercialization, infrastructure, capital formation, and the institutional consequences of technological transition.
